NOTE: This does not fit every Larson door so be sure you are ordering the correct part number. A Larson door has the key code on the key only when first purchased. You cannot order the key only from Larson and have to replace the lock instead. This is listed as a convenience for those who have totally lost their key and cannot obtain another one. Be sure to compare your lock to this before ordering.

This is a complete core/key assembly for many standard Larson Storm Doors with a lever handle. Key code shipped will be random key code. Pictures and instructions are shown below. Core will be shipped with 1 key.

Key Cylinder Removal and Core Replacement Instructions

Step 1: Loosen the set screw on the handle with a 1/8” Allen wrench and remove the handles. Then loosen the interior face plate screws and remove the trim plates from the door.

Step 2: With a flat head screw driver or similar tool, press down the retention spring on the back of the key cylinder (Figure 1 & 2) and push the cylinder through the front of the outside trim plate.

 Step 3: Insert the new cylinder through the outside trim plate until the retention spring fully extends.

Step 4: Install handles and trim plates back onto the door.
